People First of Skagit County, a non- profit organization for people with disabilities, is hosting the 2010 Legislative Reception on Wednesday, October 6. The reception will give the public a chance to communicate with government officials and local leaders about disability issues including housing, transportation, employment needs and health care. People First is pushing for all the legislators to attend, extending invitations to the 10th, 39th, 40th, and 42nd legislative districts. The event is open to everyone, so please come share your concerns with the people representing you.
